Immunity Boosting Food for Specially-abled Kids: COVID-19 Support
Our CSR Team recently organized a dinner for the school kids with special needs and committed to providing food for the complete one month amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The school is located in the GHMC Malakpet circle, Old City, Hyderabad. This service will continue daily for the kids to enjoy safe and wholesome food to help them maintain a good balance of nutrition and keep hunger at bay. Evoke Technologies as an organization believes that such initiatives go a long way in providing positive social value and giving back to the community. Our CSR Team thanks all who gave their time, expertise, and energy to make this event a success.
COVID-19 Pandemic: Feeding the needy, Fighting the hunger
Several of Evoke Technologies’ CSR volunteers reached out to the people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially daily wagers to provide them food. The volunteers took all the necessary hygiene precautions by wearing gloves and face masks and using hand sanitizers during food distribution. While confronting a pandemic of this magnitude and type, Evoke Technologies believes that it’s important that we all work together to not only deal with this crisis and minimize its human impact, but also learn from these extraordinary times, to develop a more resilient community, based on equity, humaneness, and ecological sustainability
Independence Day in Adopted School,Evoke’s CSR Initiative
To commemorate India’s 73rd Independence Day, Evoke Technologies held 15th August celebrations at the Government Primary School Bhuvana Vijaya, KPHB. The day began with flag hoisting and singing the national anthem. Following which, there were dance programs performed by the students. Evoke’s CSR Team conducted a prize-distribution ceremony for various competitions, donated shoes to all 143 students and two laptops to make tech accessible to the kids. The celebrations concluded with inspiring words from Evoke’s leadership team, followed by distribution of refreshments.
Eco-friendly Bags: A Go Green Initiative
To bring awareness and change in the society, Evoke’s CSR Team promoted the use of eco-friendly handbags over hazardous-to-nature plastic bags. This initiative was very well-received by the employees of Evoke who pledged to do their bit towards conserving the environment and considered buying nature-friendly bags for use in everyday life. These eco-friendly bags were available for sale from a Nonprofit Government Organization (NGO) and the funds raised were used to support an underprivileged govt school through relevant resources.
School Development Program: Evoke’s CSR Initiative
Evoke’s CSR initiatives are always aimed to benefit the community at large by driving initiatives that lead to the advancement of humankind and society. This time, we did our bit by supporting Primary Bhuvana Vijayam Govt. school. In an effort to improve the quality of infrastructure and education for the students, Evoke donated school bags, benches, and other fundamental facilities to the school.
Hafizpet & Nizampet Lake Revival Activities
“Saving nature does not require only money, but willpower and a collective effort,” believes our CSR Team, who along with employees participated in lake clean-up activities in Hafeezpet and Nizampet, organized by a couple of NGOs. These lake revival efforts, held during the alternate weeks of June, were joined in by different companies who helped to push these water bodies to their former natural glory. Evoke is always willing to be a part of such initiatives.
Diwali Event
During the auspicious week of Diwali, Evoke’s CSR team invited the team from ‘Autism Research & Multidisciplinary School (ARMS)’ to showcase the creative goodies made by the talented students of ARMS. The representatives of ARMS set up their stalls showcasing handmade Diya’s, greeting cards, chocolates, paper bags, etc. This unique event also offered employees of Evoke an opportunity to interact closely with ARMS and understand the issues and challenges they face in running the organization.
School Books and Stationery Donation
With the aim to develop literacy skills among children in government schools, Evoke in support from its employees initiated a donation drive to distribute stationery items such as books, pens, pencils, etc., to the Zilla Parishad High School, Babbuguda, Erragadda, Hyderabad. Employees contributed overwhelmingly with the relevant resources for these underprivileged school kids. In an effort to alter the present scenario, Evoke also spent time with the school management to understand the specific needs and problems of the students.
Making Wishes Come True: A CSR Initiative
In yet another CSR endeavor, Evoke collected wishes from over 50 kids from Sankalp Foundation – an organization dedicated to the development of children in need, and fulfilled them with the support of our committed employees passionate about making a difference in the lives of the less privileged. We hope to carry out more such special programs for these kids to bring extra joy, hope, and smiles to their faces.
