Senior Technical Associate - PowerBI Developer

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Associate under direct supervision of the Technical Lead / Project Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting individual components within an application. This involves analysis, developing/coding, testing and implementation of the components. This may also involve providing enhancements and ongoing application support to the deployed application.

Job Requirement:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Power BI Desktop & Report Builder
• Business Analytics tools developing Reporting and Dashboards
• Reporting and Analytics using Power Query, DAX, Data Modelling
• Database technologies and strong SQL query writing skills
• Experience working in Agile development environment with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps
• Good communication skills to translate business requirements into Dashboards and Reporting
• Proficiency in Testing/Debugging database scripts, Dashboards, Reports

Key Responsibilities

• Practical hands-on experience on Power BI is a must.
• Experience in creating interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience in database queries and procedures (SQL/PLSQL Knowledge)
• Design and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business requirements
• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes
• Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis
• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
• Develop Power BI Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations
• Implement security in reports and dashboards
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports
• Keeping up to date with the latest Power BI features
• Should take ownership and should stick to day-today’s timelines.
