Technical lead - Application Security

Job Summary

The Technical Lead under direct supervision of the Project Manager/Delivery Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting individual components within an application. This involves analysis, developing/coding, testing and implementation of the components. This may also involve providing enhancements and ongoing application support to the deployed application.

Technical Lead is also an experienced professional who can lead a team of developers to deliver and maintain software in form a project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Application Security team, ensuring alignment with organizational security goals
• Hands-on experience in Penetration Testing (Web & API)
• Strong knowledge of SAST (Static Application Security Testing,  DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) , SCA (Software Composition Analysis)
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
• Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and threat modeling
• Experience with tools like Checkmarx, Veracode, Fortify, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Certifications like CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, or OSCP preferred
